Bhagwant Maan is coming up with a music album which has songs sung by him and he is going to title it as Awaaj – The Voice. According to Bhagwant Maan there will be 8 songs related to Punjabi culture, Bhagat Singh, childhood, punjabi kisani, khetti, childhood and love of the contemporary times. The album will be released on 27 May. He has been working on this project for one year. Bhagwant Maan has written the songs himself and have sung them as well.. well obviously. The music has been given by Dil Khush Brothers. Its a Voice Records presentation. The videos have been directed by GurcharanVirk and the distribution and marketing is being handled by Point Zero.
It seems that its a pure Punjabi Music album, and not comedy anymore. In the recent times, we are seeing more and more of such albums and singers are getting back to lyrical approach of music.Raj Kakra has also planned to release his album of the almost same concept and now Bhagwant Maan also seems to be jumping the band wagon. Will he be successful in this attempt, or are people going to refuse his new genre of media personality? Only time will tell. No more Kulfi Garma Garam then? Only Kaudian Mirchan?
